From home made pesto using herbs that grow wild in northwest Donegal, to home made ice cream with seasonal flowers, to aromatic vinegars, this is your chance to learn more about the natural medicine all around you.
I will be hosting a tasting workshop at Anamcara Herbal Garden combined with a walk in the garden to explore some of the herbs and their medicinal properties.
We'll also be tasting some food made with herbs and we'll share ideas for recipes using the plentiful plants around us.
I can only take a maximum of ten people so booking is essential.
When: Saturday June 29 from 3.00 to 5.00 pm.
Participation fee: 10 euro (includes tastings of home made preparations such as pesto, ice cream, teas and aromatic vinegars).
