As the rainbow of autumn colors surrounding us now, are beginning to fade away into shades of grey, we should listen to our instincts as often as we can, and rest more, care and repair more.

For myself, I’ve had a busy autumn, with hosting a Sensorial writing workshop at the Ireland Writing Retreat in Belfast in October; mentoring a new group of beginners herbalists at the Plant Medicine School in Wexford - whom I am happy to mentor throughout their next two year studies - and hosting a herbal workshop at the Finn Valley Resource Center.
I will also host a three-part series of workshops at the Creeslough Community Association later this month - a few places still available and you can contact them at 087 292 3102.
With excitement I am now working on preparing lots of natural herbal goodies for the upcoming Holistic Health and Wellbeing Fair at An Chuirt Hotel this Saturday, from 11.00 to 17.00 -

Winter Tonic - with lots of herbs, honey and apple cider vinegar for supporting the immune system;
Face moisturising cream - to help maintain a healthy skin, hydrated and nourished throughout the cold season, with herbs to balance and repair;
Cream for sensitive skin - to help manage issues such as psoriasis, eczema and dry, inflamed tissue;
Night serum - to work on your skin during the night, nourish and repair, help maintain a healthy looking skin;
Anti-inflammatory salve - to help with painful joints, arthritis, muscle strains and other musculoskeletal issues, as well as nervine pain such as back pain;
Pillow mist - a spray of natural, pure aromatic waters to help calm the mind, relax the body and support a good night sleep;
Tonic body oil - to help maintain a healthy functioning of the musculoskeletal system, easy painful joints and muscles, relax after a sports session or walks or simply support you during the working hours;
Herbal teas for relaxing in the evening and others to reduce inflammatory conditions as well as herbal salts to nourish you through the winter and make your dishes healthier and tastier.
With Winter Holidays just around the corner, I will also have vouchers available if you want to offer a gift with a difference (and lots of goodness) for your loved ones - they can be used for consultations, workshops or natural herbal products I make.
See you all on Saturday and wishing you a most contented winter season.
